16' Flat Deck Trailer Plans. 7,000 lb gross capacity. Optional 10,000 lb capacity. The effective bed length is 16' and the width is 102". Empty weight is 2550 lbs and tongue weight is 315 lbs. Lower frame is made of square tubing and the upper frame is channel and diamond plate steel. Chain rails run down each side of the deck. Front security frame made of square tubing. 3” Square tubing tongue with 2" ball coupler. Two 3500 lb axles with leaf springs make up the tandem assembly. One or two axle brakes optional. Three big sheet with Seventeen steps to build this heavy duty 16' flat deck trailer.
