20' Gooseneck Lowboy Trailer Plans. 12,000 lb gross capacity. The effective bed length is 20' and the bed width is 6'6". Empty weight is 3200 lbs., tongue weight is 840 lbs. The tongue is 8" channel, the lower bed is angle, and the upper railing is square tubing. Chain and boomer box between lower tongue members. It calls for a treated wooden deck, but steel is an option. Ramps are stored in side ramp pockets. Two 6000 lb axles with slipper springs make up the tandem running gear. Four big sheets with Nineteen steps to build this hard working rig.
