McGard locks feature a special key tool in each set. Key tool comes in many different patterns for maximum security. Provides 24-hour a day theft protection for your boat's outboard motor. Lock design features a free-spinning collar that will turn if attacked by gripping tools without loosening the lock. Through-hardened stainless steel construction. To install, simply replace one of the nuts holding the outboard motor on the transom of the boat with a McGard lock. Then tighten the lock with the special key tool. 5/16" X 18 threads, for most of these O/Bs: Honda 8-15hp, J/E 6-30HP, Mercury/Mariner 8-25HP, Nissan 5.2-30HP, Suzuki 8-30HP, Tohatsu 2.5-30HP, Yamaha 9.9-40HP; also fits other small O/B motors with a hole in the transom bracket for mounting the motor (stainless steel bolt included in set) |
