10' Tilt Utility Trailer Plans. The gross capacity is 3500 lbs. The bed is 10' long and 6'4" wide. It weights 1065 lbs empty with a tongue of 92 lbs. The frame is angle steel. The tongue is square tubing with a 2" ball coupler. The tilt mechanism is made of pipe, hinged in four locations for extra strength. The tilt is not designed to stay in the tilt position by itself but provides a great combination of tilt ease and excellent towing ability. It has a single axle with leaf spring suspension.
