The ZIP Valve Extender set comes complete with stainless steel braided, teflon hoses, stainless steel mounting brackets, retaining nuts, and stainless steel valve stem covers. installation is easy. Just screw the hose onto the existing valve stem and attach the mounting brackets to the axle cover or to the axle end. Make the necessary adjustments on the valve housing (see instructions on back of packaging) and the ZIP Valve Extenders are ready for use. ZIP Valve Extenders are designed for vehicles with dual rear wheels, and are available for all vehicles from a 16" dually pickups to 24.5" big rigs and buses. This system can be used with steel or aluminum wheels, with or without decorative axle covers. ZIP Valve Extenders improve tire life, vehicle handling, fuel economy and driving safety while adding quick, easy access to valve stems. ZIP Valve Extenders are the "can't leak" valve extenders. the stainless steel braided, teflon hose does not contain air unless the adjustable core actuator within the hose is engaged when checking or inflating the tires. Therefore, if the ZIP valve Extender is cut or damaged, the tire will not loose air pressure.
