These Coast Guard-approved inshore vests are rated as Type III devices, so they count in your pfd inventory, yet they+re extremely lightweight and compact. A tug on the inflation rip cord rapidly inflates the bladder to provide 22.5 lbs. of buoyancy, 30% more than a foam Type III vest. Durable 200-denier nylon shrouds. Rip cord-inflated vests are recommended for adults who can swim. Repacks easily with our USCG-approved rearming kit (sold separately). Fits chest sizes 30" - 52".
